QIIME is an open source software package for comparison and analysis of microbial communities, primarily based on high-throughput amplicon sequencing data (such as SSU rRNA) generated on a variety of platforms, but also supporting analysis of other types of data (such as shotgun metagenomic data).
2 Versions and Availability
A list of versions currently available on all bwHPC-C5-Clusters can be obtained from the
On the commandline of the the bwUni or bwFor clusters, you can get a list of the available versions using
$ module avail bio/qiime
3 Loading the module
You can load the default version of QIIME with the command
$ module load bio/qiime
If you wish to load a specific (older) version, you can do so using e.g.
$ module load bio/qiime/0.0.0
to load the version 0.0.0
The examples can be copied to the home directory with
$ cp -r $QIIME_EXA_DIR ~
